The intimate scale of the dojo encourages concentration, individual attention and a direct relationship with training. The space is restrained, functional and lived-in.
Tradition is not treated as scenery: it is expressed in the way we enter, train, breathe and respect those who share the space.
In Japanese, dojo means ‘the place where a way is practised.’
